Irrespective of the problems in life, Every child of God is by covenant
destined to be fruitful in life because that is their heritage. God our
heavenly Father wants us to be fruitful that was why He sent Jesus Christ to
die for us so that we through him can be fruitful in life (John 15:1--8)
. Your identification with Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour is your passport
to fruitfulness, it is your qualification for fruitfulness. When you
identified Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour by receiving Him, believing in
Him and confessing Him with your mouth as Lord and Saviour, you were
ordained to be fruitful in every areas of your life - in your health, career
and other endeavors because it is the will of God for you.
According to the Word of God in Deuteronomy 28:4/11 the Bible says
"Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and
the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy
store. And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of the
body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and i! n the fruit of thy ground, in
the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee."
You have been called into the kingdom of God to be fruitful in all areas
of your life as such ill-health, poverty, stagnation, failure, confusion,
crisis are all aberration to your fruitful destiny in God.
What does it mean to be fruitful?
It means to produce many useful results. It means to be productive ;
active and creative mentally, physically and spiritually. Everyone created
by God upon this planet earth has been created to be productive, creative
and active mentally, physically and spiritually . Your call into the kingdom
of God is a call into a fruitful life. You are not called by the gospel to
be barren in life ! but to be fruitful in life. The plan of God for me and
you is for us to be in fruitful in all areas of our lives in our
body, around us and in our soul.
"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in
health, even as thy soul prospereth" 3 John 1:2
Beloved, what ever may be the prevailing circumstances, the good news is
that you have been called into the kingdom of God to be fruitful because
that is what salvation packaged for you as such nothing is permitted to
hinder you from being fruitful in life in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
THE COVENANT ELEMENTS FOR FRUITFULNESS:
Every child of God is expected to be fruitful in life but before you can
be fru! itful there are some elements you need to apply in order to be
fruitful. Just as a seed cannot be fruitful without some elements in the
same way you also can never be fruitful without the required elements
because you are like seed planted upon the plant earth (Matthew 13: 24-43).
I would like to share with you briefly, some of the elements that you
require in order to be fruitful;
1. THE WORD OF GOD:
If you must be fruitful in life, you need the Holy Bible which contains
word of God. The word of God is synonymous with water. According to book of
Ephesians 5:26-27 the Bible says
"That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the
word. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, ! not having
spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without
blemish."
Just as a seed need water in order to be fruitful, you need the word of
God in order to be fruitful in life.
"Thy mother is like vine in thy blood, planted by the waters; she was
fruitful and full of branches by reason of many waters." Ezekiel 19:10
The level of water applied to a seed is what determines its level of
fruitfulness in the same way the level of the word of God you operate in is
what determines your level of fruitfulness in life. The depth of revelation
you have receive from the word of God is the determinant of the level of
fruitfulness you experience even though you have been positioned for
fruitfulness by new birth.
Furthermore, it is not just your receipt of the revelation that counts
rather your application of the word of God. It is your application of the
word of God that guarantees fruitfulness. Applied revelation gives birth to
fruitfulness and un-applied revelation gives birth to frustration.
James 1:25 says 'But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and
continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work,
this man shall be blessed in his deed."
Friends, your application of the word of God you receive is what
determines your fruitfulness in life. Until you find the word of God and
apply it you cannot be fruitful in life. Every revelation involves a
responsibility, God has called you i! n order to make you fruitful in life
but until you play your own part by doing what is written in his word, you
can not commit him to fulfill his glorious plan for your life. Commit
yourself in the reading and application of the word of God because it is a
vital element for fruitfulness in life.
Joshua 1:8 says "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth;
but thou shalt meditate therein day and night that thou mayest observe to do
according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way
prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."
2. JOYFULNESS:
This is another vital element for fruitfulness in the kingdom of God. If
you must be fruitful in life, you need to be joyful always ! in doing what
God has asked you to do. When there is no joy or gladness in your heart, you
can never be fruitful in life. The Bible says in Joel 1:12
"The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomergranate
tree , the palm tree also, and the apple tree , even all the trees of the
field, are withered because joy is withered away from the sons of men."
From the above scripture , you will understand that lack of joy is major
hindrances to fruitfulness as such if you must be fruitful in life , you
need to be joyful because is what guarantees your fruitfulness in life.
See what the Bible in Deuteronomy 28:47
"Because thou servedst! not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and
gladness of heart for the abundance of all things."
Beloved, joy and gladness of heart is needed inorder to be fruitful in
life. Many people are not fruitful in life because they are not joyful and
glad but if you must be fruitful in life , you need to be joyful no matter
the prevailing problem because until you are joyful , you cannot be fruitful
and when you are not joyful , you will be frustrated in life .
Every joyful man is a fruitful man because it is only joy and gladness
that sets the pace for fruitfulness in life ( Joel 2:21-27). I therefore
urge you that no matter what the problem is, be joyful so that you can be
fruitful .
"Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the! wells of salvation?"
Isaiah 12:3
3. TRUST IN GOD:
This involves a total belief and confidence with assurance that God is
able to make you become fruitful in life. God is your creator and want you
to be fruitful as such if you must be fruitful in life, you need to trust in
God because he is the only one that has the power to make you fruitful in
life.Genesis 17:6 says
" And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations
of thee, and kings shall come out of thee."
When you acknowledge who God is and what He can do it will help you to
trust him. According to the book of Jeremiah 32:27, there is nothing hard
for God to do as such all you are re! quired to do is to trust in God that
he is able to make you fruitful and when you trust and hope in God , you are
destined to be fruitful in life. When you trust in God you will be fruitful
in life. Jeremiah 17:7-8 says
"Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD
is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters , and that spreadeth out
her roots by the river , and shall not see when heat cometh , but her leaf
shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither
shall cease from yielding fruit."
Child of God when you trust in the LORD your God, your fruitfulness is
eternally guaranteed. Many people are not producing many useful results in
life because they do not trust in God. Alot of people trust in their fellow
man, many trust in their diabolical powers or idol! s while other trust in
their selves but the truth is that it is only those who trust in the Lord
that are qualified for fruitfulness in life , but when you trust in your
fellow man, yourself or any other power apart from God , you are bound to be
frustrated in life .
Jeremiah 17:5-6 says "Thus saith the Lord: cursed be the man that
trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from
the Lord. For he shall be like the heath in the desert and shall not see
when good cometh; but shall inhabit parched places in the wilderness, in a
salt land and not inhabited."
Friend, it is your trust in God that guarantees your fruitfulness but
your failure to trust God will bring about frustration in your life. I
hereby exhort you to trust in God no matter the problems because every good
thing comes from h! im.
1 Timothy 6:17 says "Charge them that are rich in this world , that they
be not high minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God ,
who giveth us richly all things to enjoy."
CONCLUSION
Whom you identify with is what determines what you will be identified with.
When you identify with Jesus Christ who is the source of fruitfulness, you
will be identified with the fruitfulness that comes from Him. Your
identification with Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour is your only access to
a life of fruitfulness; until you identify with Him , you can ne! ver be
fruitful in life. Therefore if you would like to identify with Jesus
Christ as Lord and Saviour, please follow the below steps and say the prayer
that follows so that you can identify with your Lord and Saviour who is the
source of fruitfulness.
(1) Acknowledge that
you are sinner (Romans 3:23).
(2) Repent of all your
sins (Acts 3:19).
(3) Confess your sins
to Jesus Christ and forsake your sins (Proverb 28:13).
(4)Ask Him for
His mercy and forgiveness of all your sins (1 John 1:9).
(5) Ask Him for the
remission and cleansing of all your sins by His shed precious blood (1John
1:7).
(6) Receive Him into
your life as your Lord and Saviour ( John 1:12)
(7)Believe in your
heart that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Saviour ( Acts 16:31).
(8) Confess with your
mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9-10)

prayer so that you can identify with Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour;
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST,
I THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE FOR ME, I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE THE SON OF THE
LIVING GOD WHO DIED FOR MY SINS , WAS BURIED AND ROSE AGAIN ON THE THIRD DAY
BY THE POWER OF GOD FOR MY JUSTIFICATION. I COME TO YOU TODAY , I AM SINNER
AND CANNOT HELP MYSELF. I REPENT OF ALL MY SINS AND CONFESS THEM TO YOU NOW.
I OPEN UP THE DOOR OF MY LIFE TO YOU AND INVITE YOU INTO MY LIFE , PLEASE
COME ! INTO MY LIFE, BE MERCIFUL UNTO ME, FORGIVE ME ALL MY SINS , CLEANSE
ME FROM ALL MY FILTHY SINS AND DELIVER FROM SIN AND SATAN WITH YOUR SHED
PRECIOUS BLOOD. TODAY I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE MY LORD AND SAVIOUR,I CONFESS
THAT YOU ARE MY LORD AND SAVIOUR AND RECEIVE YOU INTO MY LIFE AS MY LORD AND
MY SAVIOUR. THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME! NOW I KNOW THAT I AM SAVED TO SERVE
THE LIVING GOD AND TO PARTAKE OF ALL HIS BLESSINGS AMEN!.
